Are you a driven Senior DevOps engineer looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team at Thomson Reuters as a Senior DevOps Engineer. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing software systems using best practices in quality engineering and Agile methodologies. You'll work closely with product management to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions that meet customer needs. About the Role:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, test automation, and release management to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust software systems using industry-standard frameworks and tools such as Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and Kubernetes
  • Drive continuous improvement through effective use of metrics and data-driven decision making
  • Ensure high levels of availability by monitoring system performance and responding quickly to any issues or incidents that may arise
  • Identify areas where existing processes can be improved upon to increase efficiency while maintaining stability and reliability

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a software developer or equivalent
  • Experience working with Java programming language and relevant frameworks such as Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, etc.
  • Experience working with databases like SQL Server
  • Knowledge of version control tools such as GitLab
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles including unit testing and integration testing
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify root causes of problems
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
