About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior Specialist to join our team. As a Tax Senior Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's tax compliance and regulatory requirements are met. Your expertise will be essential in preparing and reviewing tax returns, reconciliations, and submissions related to income tax and indirect tax.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance and Regulatory Management
- Prepare and review tax returns, reconciliations, and submissions for income tax and indirect tax.
- Reconcile accounting, fiscal, and transfer pricing numbers to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and cash payments.
- Tax Strategy and Planning
- Support the development of tax strategies to minimize tax burden and advance tax collection.
- Collaborate with external tax consultants to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Provide information and support to the Tax Manager on tax queries and requests from tax authorities.
- Process Improvement
- Support the team in reassessing end-to-end processes to improve tax control and efficiency.
- Document existing processes and controls to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting and Communication
- Assist in the preparation of tax reports and returns, including transfer price reports.
- Communicate tax information and strategies to the business to ensure understanding of benefits and risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a tax-related position.
- Desirable experience with Big 4 Tax firms or FMGC.
- Knowledge of corporate tax requirements and IFRS familiarity.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
