**Job Summary**

Driscoll's is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Laboratory Manager to support the administration and phytosanitary diagnostic process for all nursery operation areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing all phytosanitary samples, making diagnostic-related recommendations, and working closely with the DOTA CS and plant health team.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Administrate laboratory resources and develop AOP for the Lab.
  • Process and develop diagnostics for all berry crops related to pest, diseases, and physiology requested by the different nurseries areas.
  • Administrate and control diagnostics with external laboratories, coordinate with plant health manager, and work with regulatory government to import and export other BU.
  • Develop monthly reports about the phytosanitary status, including a dashboard and updates on main diseases and alternative controls for operations.
  • Communicate on time to the different nursery areas about findings in the Diagnostic Lab.
  • Develop trials about main phytosanitary issues on the Nursery Operation for all berry crops and generate results to public on Berrynet.
  • Maintain diagnostic records in DOTA Diagnostics Database.

**Requirements**

  • Master Degree/PhD in Phytopathology, Microbiology, Physiology, Entomology, or related areas.
  • Advanced English.
  • 4 years of experience in Diagnostic Lab for phytopathology.
  • Phytosanitary diagnostic reports.
  • Planning.
  • DB development.
  • Statistical analysis.
  • Communication and interpersonal relations.
  • Experience managing people.
  • Driver's license.
