About the Role:
The Fixed Asset Analyst is a key member of our team at Sensata Technologies, responsible for managing our company's fixed assets. This role involves creating, managing, and capitalizing projects, as well as performing physical inventories and assigning tags to assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the completion of periodic accounting functions, such as annual ownership distributions, tax and insurance payments, annual audits, and tax returns.
- Advise the Global Ops team on inventory reduction programs, focusing on excess and obsolete stock.
- Prepare monthly reports, including interest rate sensitivity analysis, budget, margin, and income metrics, loan volume and pricing metrics, and ad hoc analysis.
- Manage compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Evaluate Venture Capital, Real Estate, Real Asset, Infrastructure, and Credit strategies.
- Collaborate with internal personnel to automate daily tasks, increase process reliability, and improve financial modeling efforts.
Requirements:
- A university degree (Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- A team player with strong communication skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results.
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
