Danfoss is seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Analyst to join our team in Apodaca, Mexico. As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring customer accounts, tracking and addressing open items, and arranging settlements. You will also be responsible for making regular calls with external customers, developing relationships, and providing support to Customer Service and Sales teams.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Account Management: Follow up and communicate with internal and external customers to ensure prompt and on-time payment of receivables and resolution of disputed open items.
- Credit Risk Assessment: Assess credit risk and perform creditworthiness analysis of customers to make decisions about order releases and credit limits.
- Financial Data Management: Maintain accurate credit data and collection files, as well as electronic collection notes for each customer account.
- Dispute Resolution: Follow up on disputes with Customer Service & Sales teams to reduce impact on collection.
- Process Improvement: Identify root causes of issues that cause receivable aging, report findings to management, and suggest possible courses of action to remedy.
- Training and Development: Provide training to new credit team members and others as needed.
- Team Support: Support team members on questions and decision-making.
- Process Analysis: Analyze processes and procedures to make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: Education in a field of Finance, International Business, Accounting, and/or Management, or relevant work experience.
- Experience: 3 years (or more) of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Strong business writing and professional communication skills, positive attitude, basic MS Office knowledge, and experience with SAP.
- Language: Fluent verbal and written English language skills, with any additional language (intermediate level) being a benefit.
