**Job Summary**:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Lead to join our team at Citi. As a key member of our data science initiatives, you will be responsible for applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge to develop new techniques and improve processes and work-flows.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and contribute to the objectives of data science initiatives and overall business through leveraging in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function.

- Assume an informal/formal leadership role through coaching and training of new recruits.

- Significantly influence decisions, work, and performance of all teams through advice, counsel, and/or facilitating services to others in the business.

- Conduct strategic data analysis, identify insights and implications, and make strategic recommendations.

- Deliver analytics initiatives to address business problems with the ability to identify data required, assess time & effort required, and establish a project plan.

- Consult with business clients to identify system functional specifications.

- Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems, and industry standards.

- Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry standards.

**Requirements**:

- 5-8 years of experience using tools for statistical modeling of large data sets.

- Ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques.

- Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Advanced knowledge in Data Warehouse.

- 5-8 years of experience in Ab Initio tools.

- Experience in application migration.

- Advanced knowledge in Unix/Shell scripting.

- Broad experience in database management. Preference for Teradata and Oracle.

- Experience in managing schedulers (Autosys, Control M, Control Center, etc).

- Broad experience in designing processes for managing high volumes of information.

- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals mainly in English.

- Knowledge in file transfer processes.

- Broad experience in Linux/Unix operating systems.

- Verbal and written communication skills in English.

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- Experience in infrastructure requirements for ETL applications.

- Experience in designing solution architecture.

- Knowledge in Ab Initio suite.

- Concepts: Dependency Analysis, Data lineage, Data Governance.
