We are seeking a highly skilled Test Cell Electrician to join our team at Safran. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the preventive and corrective maintenance of bench test equipment and the engine preparation room.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and update technical documentation related to calibration instructions, maintenance, and technical documents.
- Review the calibrations of measuring devices and ensure conformity of measurements taken during testing.
- Participate in investigations after an electrical problem occurs in an engine on the bench test or during the engine preparation room.
- Monitor and update electrical plans of Test Cell equipment.
- Provide technical support to the shop and bench test, including service order monitoring and implementation via SAP.
- Carry out the annual inventory of fixed assets.
- Focal point of needs and monitoring of the Test Cell tools.
- Aeronautical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering degree.
- Leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with little response time and outside of office hours.
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external clients.
- Advanced knowledge of electricity and automation, including PLC programming and electrical diagram interpretation.
The successful candidate will work in a shop office environment, exposed to workshop noises. They will be required to work under pressure with little response time and outside of office hours, including weekends and holidays.
