Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cyber security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
- Lead incident response activities and investigations, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, and recommend improvements to enhance security posture.
- Stay updated with the latest cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Configure and manage network devices and security appliances.
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions.
- Prepare security reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in cyber security or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and technologies.
- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
- In-depth understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
- Proficiency in incident response procedures and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are desirable.
