We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Construction Project Manager to join our team at Edf Renewables North America. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of solar and solar+storage construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, material, and equipment to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Ensure that all project work complies with project plans, specifications, and applicable codes and regulations.
- Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and utilities, including coordination of construction and interconnection activities with interconnecting utility.
- Represent the Company as a project site representative to the project stakeholders, including client, utility, authorities having jurisdiction, and community members.
- Maintain daily logs of project activities and communicate regularly with supervisors.
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on solar and solar+storage projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, processes, and standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
This position involves work at a construction site, with approximately 30% of time spent indoors and 70% of time spent outside on the project site(s). Frequent travel is required to project sites and Company offices.
Physical RequirementsThe employee must be able to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use or access stairs or other elevated structures. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Travel RequirementsShort travel is required for this position.
Initial Project AssignmentsInitial project assignments are expected to be located in Illinois, Michigan, and/or Delaware.
