About the JobWe are looking for a highly skilled professional to lead the development and improvement of manufacturing processes in various areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that existing processes sustain quality standards while driving innovation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Process Development: Develop and implement new manufacturing processes, focusing on ergonomic design, productivity, and quality enhancements.
- Project Leadership: Lead project planning, scheduling, cost monitoring, resource allocation, and workforce management for significant projects within specialized areas.
- Movement and Time Study: Apply expertise to optimize production line efficiency through movement and time studies.
- Manufacturing Cell Design: Design and implement manufacturing cells focused on ergonomic, productivity, and quality improvements.
- Kaizen Blitz Events: Participate in kaizen blitz events to promote process improvement culture and implement quick improvements.
- Capacity Planning: Plan and manage equipment, labor, and space capacity, as well as maintenance strategies.
- Production Yield and Productivity: Track and analyze production yield, productivity, downtime, and corrective actions to ensure sustained compliance with division policies and regulations.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of four years of experience in a related position, such as Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electromechanic Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
- Proven experience in problem-solving, project management, lean practices, six sigma, and line transfers.
- Experience working in ISO/FDA regulated environments and GMPs.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication in English is required.
The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
