Key Responsibilities- Design and Modeling: Create detailed designs and models for structural components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with design team members, project managers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Develop and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations.
- Project Meetings and Reviews: Participate in project meetings and reviews to ensure project progress and quality standards are met.
- Design Standards and Procedures: Assist in the development of design standards and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience in structural design, with a focus on offshore engineering projects.
- Skills: Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks, as well as working knowledge of industry standards and regulations for offshore construction.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
