Role: Ensure compliance with import/export regulations by handling tariff classifications, processing documentation, and liaising with customs authorities.
Analyze and apply trade laws, manage customs data, and support internal audits to ensure accurate and efficient international trade operations for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and ensure compliance with IMMEX program regulations.
- Accurately classify goods for customs purposes using HTS codes.
- Process Record Keeping import/export documents efficiently.
- Monitor and control fixed assets in accordance with regulations.
- Communicate and coordinate with customs and regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent experience required in International Relations, International Business, International Commerce, or a similar field.
- Intermediate Conversational English skills.
- Proven knowledge of Mexican customs laws and international trade regulations.
- Ability to stay updated with evolving regulations for maintaining compliance.
