Cloud Engineering Intern

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cloud Engineering Intern to collaborate with our engineering team in the design, implementation, and management of cloud solutions. This role will provide hands-on experience in real-world projects and exposure to the latest cloud technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and implementation of cloud solutions, including infrastructure, security, and scalability.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and efficiency.
  • Investigate and resolve software and environment issues, collaborating with the engineering team to identify and implement solutions.
  • Design, develop, and test software features based on business and functional requirements, using cloud-based tools and technologies.
  • Debug defects and errors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and meeting project deadlines.
  • Document technical processes and procedures, contributing to the development of knowledge base and best practices.
  • Conduct research and presentations on cloud-related topics, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.
Requirements
  • Student in the last semesters of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related courses.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including networks, operating systems, and programming.
  • Interest in learning about new cloud technologies and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, and Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) is desirable.
  • Experience with computer systems/programming or any equivalent in a DevOps environment is desirable.
  • Experience with at least one cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, is desirable.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
