About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Coordinator to join our team at Tpe De México, S. De R.L. De C.V. in a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all relevant safety, environmental, and health regulations, as well as interact with authorities, auditors, and inspectors.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, conduct root cause analysis, implement countermeasures, and ensure actions are taken.
  • Coordinate the activities of the Safety Committee and BRIGADAS.
  • Manage medical services and ensure all emergency systems are in good condition, in accordance with Mexican Law.
  • Collaborate with the Training Supervisor to develop and follow up on safety training, adhering to internal and legal requirements.
  • Oversee the chemical warehouse, including inventory, identification, and documentation, as well as proper management of chemicals and hazardous waste.
  • Update safety graphs during Gemba walks.
  • Lead EHS projects, such as Machine Guarding, LOTO, Sustainability, and Ergonomics.
  • Supervise Chemical Warehouse Technician activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, safety management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of Mexican Law related to safety and environmental systems.
  • Experience in dealing with safety and environmental audits.
  • Knowledge of emergency systems, in accordance with the Fire Department.
  • Knowledge of Social Security (IMSS) procedures.
  • Experience in handling chemicals and hazardous waste.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety data sheets.
  • Proficiency in computer programs, such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong leadership and training abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Acute attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
