Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician III to join our team at Jabil Circuit. As a key member of our Diagnostic department, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the team's proficiencies and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex electronic circuit board assemblies with minimal quantities of Engineering and Component hold assemblies.
  • Exhibit proficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment, including schematics, BOMs, EC documents, visuals, debug, testing tools, and procedures.
  • Assist the Test Engineering department in evaluating data to improve diagnosis efficiency and recommend Diagnostic technicians staffing levels.
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve advanced diagnostic issues and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Develop and implement document methods and procedures for new assignments and provide guidance to other personnel.
  • Contribute to achieving Diagnostic department process yield goals and prepare reports to recommend solutions to technical problems.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer, including using a Windows-based operating system and related software.
