Senior Project Architect

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality projects that exceed our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to project teams, ensuring that design drawings, technical documentation, and project assignments are completed to the highest standards.
  2. Design Development: Direct the production of schematic, design development, and construction documents, making informed decisions and negotiating critical issues with the Project Manager.
  3. Project Planning: Collaborate with the Project Manager to establish budgets, task schedules, and other components of the work plan.
  4. Client Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
  5. Marketing and Presentations: Participate in marketing efforts and may lead presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our firm's expertise and capabilities.
  6. Team Leadership: Direct, organize, and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and oversight to ensure their success.
Requirements:
  1. A professional degree in Architecture, Design, or a related discipline.
  2. At least 12 years of experience in project leadership and management.
  3. Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software, with Revit being a strong preference.
  4. Experience directing and coordinating work efforts of junior staff.
  5. Advanced experience in all phases and aspects of a project, including reviewing construction documentation.
  6. Knowledge of building codes, specifications, building, and engineering systems.
  7. Understanding of project management processes.
  8. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Collaborative and professional work ethic.
  10. LEED AP certification or within 6 months of hire.
