Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Operations Director to join our client's team in the metalwork industry. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently coordinating production management, implementing continuous improvement methodologies, and overseeing operational and financial indicators.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will bring extensive expertise in production coordination, cost management, and leadership in unionized environments. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Expertise in production management: Skilled in optimizing production lines, implementing methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, One-Piece Flow, and Kanban processes, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output.
  • Proven leadership and team management of all business units: Expert in leading unionized operational teams, including production, engineering, and quality personnel, fostering accountability, collaboration, and safety.
  • Financial and operational responsibility: Demonstrated capability in managing P&L performance, preparing and overseeing annual budgets, and applying cost absorption strategies to ensure financial health and sustainability.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement: Adept at driving initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline operations, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Technical and strategic excellence: Skilled in troubleshooting operational challenges, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining alignment with industry standards for quality and performance.
