Job Description: Java Technical Lead - Digital Transformation SpecialistWe are currently searching for an experienced Java Technical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in Java development and technical leadership. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a technical team and collaborating with stakeholders such as Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
- Designing and developing applications using Java 8/11/17, Microservices architecture, Spring Boot, JPA, and RESTful services.
- Applying object-oriented programming concepts and strong design skills to deliver robust solutions.
- Providing expert-level technical support and acting as a subject matter expert for applications.
- Managing message broker queues like Kafka or IBM MQ for effective data streaming.
- Oversleeping the end-to-end build and deployment process using tools like Maven or Gradle, ensuring smooth production deployment.
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines and processes for efficient development cycles.
- Monitoring application health and performance using tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Working with relational databases such as MSSQL and Oracle.
- Utilizing Docker for containerization (desirable).
- Collaborating effectively on front-end frameworks such as Node.js, React, or Angular (nice to have).
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A deep understanding of Java 8/11/17, Microservices, and related frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with message brokers (Kafka or IBM MQ) and logging/monitoring tools.
- A strong understanding of CI/CD processes and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Knowledge of database management systems and containerization tools like Docker.
- Advanced Oral English and Native Spanish language skills.
The estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
