Process Engineer for Stator Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new processes that improve manufacturing productivity and efficiency. This includes designing and optimizing machine specifications, developing operational documents, and coordinating implementation activities with OEMs and other teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement New Processes: Design and develop new processes that improve manufacturing productivity and efficiency. This includes developing machine specifications and designing processes that are optimized for the manufacturing environment.
- Develop and Review Operational Documents: Develop and review operational documents, including Control Plans, FMEA, Procedures, Product Drawings, Process Sheets, Lessons Learned, Single Point Lessons, SCCAF, and Error Proofing. These documents provide detailed instructions on how to operate and maintain equipment and processes within the manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate Implementation Activities: Coordinate implementation activities with OEMs, PD, Controls, B&F, and Launch Engineers to ensure that equipment and processes are installed and set up in accordance with required specifications and quality standards.
- Support Quality Documentation: Support the development of all quality documentation per launch readiness. This includes developing quality documentation and ensuring that all quality standards are met.
- Manage Open Issues List: Develop and manage an open issues list for the responsible machine's lines. This includes identifying issues and working with different teams to develop solutions to address them.
- Manage Project Timing and Budget: Manage the timing of the project and ensure that corrective actions and recovery plans are developed and implemented where needed. This includes managing project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Purchase New Equipment and Machine Tryout Parts: Purchase new equipment and machine tryout parts. This includes working with different teams to identify the equipment and parts that are required and ensuring that they are purchased and delivered on time.
- Follow Up Program Timing and Budget Management: Follow up program timing and budget management with milestones, reporting program progress throughout PTME tools. This includes monitoring project progress, identifying issues, and working with different teams to develop solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electromechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication skills in professional English, both oral and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with different teams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Skills in Autocad, Quality tools (Process Capabilities), Teamcenter, Project management, Microsoft Office
- Basic Statistical skills and drawing interpretation
- Acknowledge in 6 sigma disciplines
- Experience with Quality Standards and Regulations
- Experience in Purchase Orders generation and follow up to invoice payment
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility to work extended hours as required
