As a key member of our sustainability team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring company environmental programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental agencies regulations, and compliance with clients' requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement company-wide environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable practices and reduce environmental impact.
- Design and implement systems for municipal and industrial water supply and wastewater treatment.
- Research and develop preventive programs to reduce environmental impact on VOCs, gases, chemical control, and waste.
- Design and lead a roadmap to net zero.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in an environmental role, preferably in manufacturing.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and environmental regulatory requirements for air, water, soil, and waste.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to perform administrative tasks.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
