Avery Dennison is a global leader in materials science and digital identification solutions. We are seeking an experienced EHS professional to join our team as an EHS Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and corporate regulations, as well as developing and implementing effective EHS programs.

  • Develop and implement EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the development of EHS program components, including operational procedures, work instructions, training materials, and standards.
  • Integrate EHS management systems to maintain compliance, environmental protection, and safe operating conditions.
  • Report and document EHS performance, including tracking and regularly reporting regulatory compliance and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide advice and counsel to product and process engineers and leads to incorporate EHS principles and concepts to prevent workplace and operational hazards.
  • Act as a resource and mentor to facility safety teams.
  • Investigate all releases, injuries, and near-misses.
  • Maintain compliance records for permits and review federal, state, and local regulation changes that impact permits and permit compliance.
  • Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices and develop hazard control practices and programs.
  • Review plant incident statistics and make recommendations for correction of problem areas.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of plant machinery, equipment, and working conditions to ensure conformance to appropriate safety and sanitary standards and regulations.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Chemical Environmental Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Experience in life safety codes, EHS rules, training, principles of occupational safety and health, and industrial hygiene.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to relate well to others.
  • An organized way of working and attention to detail.
