  • Communicate payroll policies and procedures to employees, stakeholders, and vendors, providing expertise on country-specific payroll questions.
  • Maintain company and employee payroll records, including time data, earnings, deductions, and tax withholding, while ensuring system data accuracy.
  • Prepare and control payroll-related financial accruals and journal entries as needed.
  • Create and control payroll-related reports to authorities, including period-based reporting and year-end tax filings.
  • Adhere to and perform SOX control-related activities, validating accuracy and reporting deviations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience of at least 2 years as a payroll coordinator/lead or similar role.
  • Good knowledge of legislation relevant to accounting and payroll, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and benefits.
  • Working knowledge of payroll systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Kronos, and Time Management systems.
  • Comfortable with Excel, including functions, data, and VBA.
  • An analytical mind with good math skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Fluent English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a payroll administration of at least 1 year or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes of the LAT region.
  • Good knowledge of legislation relevant to accounting and payroll, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and benefits.
  • Working knowledge of payroll systems, such as SAP, PS, Oracle, Kronos, and Time Management systems.
  • Comfortable with Excel, including functions, data, and VBA.
  • An analytical mind with good math skills.
