About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Sourcing Leader to join our team at Schneider Electric Norge AS. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for driving strategic cost reduction initiatives and ensuring the effective deployment of our purchasing strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cost reduction projects and initiatives to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Manage and maintain accurate purchasing databases and records.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and terms.
  • Support the development and implementation of commodity management strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of supplier qualification systems.
Requirements
  • University degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, project management, or a related field.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
