Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a dedicated engineer to become a vital part of our software quality assurance division, contributing to the ongoing advancement of our Platform Orchestration solution. The ideal candidate will exhibit the necessary potential and technical inquisitiveness to engage with software that employs a variety of cutting-edge technologies and integration frameworks. Our team ethos places significant emphasis on staff training and career progression, ensuring you will gain valuable exposure to diverse software validation methodologies supported by industry-standard engineering practices, enhancing your skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide insights on software quality assurance for project timelines, plans, and software architecture.
- Analyze feature specifications and design documents to create clear, comprehensive, and precise testing strategies.
- Design, document, and execute manual testing across various target environments. Develop and implement automated regression tests, applying suitable strategies for system, integration, and regression testing of finalized software.
- Generate and maintain formal documentation throughout all phases of test development and execution.
- Assist fellow QA team members in overcoming testing challenges, addressing issues related to testing methodologies, application functionality, or specific technical expertise.
- Investigate and replicate issues, providing solutions to enable users to continue their operations seamlessly.
- Communicate product readiness, quality levels, and outcomes to the Development Manager and other product team members.
- Continuously enhance industry knowledge, skills, and competencies in quality assurance practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of various software testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Cucumber and Cypress.
- Proficiency in programming languages for test automation, including Java and Python.
- Experience in designing, developing, and refining an automation framework.
- Analytical capabilities to identify, estimate, develop, and execute test scenarios effectively.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle.
- A detail-oriented work ethic with a strong focus on quality.
- High levels of curiosity to identify potential software defects.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively within a geographically diverse team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
