**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Release Engineer to join our team at Stellantis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and releasing electrical systems for our automotive products.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and develop electrical systems for automotive products, including powertrains and mechatronics systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets requirements and is released on time.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, including drawings and specifications.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
- Work with manufacturing teams to resolve launch issues and improve design for manufacturability.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a closely related engineering field from an ABET-accredited university.
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in the automotive field, preferably in product development and powertrain.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of engineering theory and principles of design.
- Ability to work in a team environment and support resolution of launch issues in a plant environment.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Advanced degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- 4+ years of related engineering experience.
- 2+ years of design release experience.
- Understanding of Electric Motor or EDM operation, design, manufacturing, testing, and development.
- Experience with Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
- Knowledge of drawing GD&T and dimensional tolerance stack-ups.
- Experience with Statement of Requirements, DFMEA, and Design Reviews.
- Working knowledge of problem resolution and tracking systems and engineering change management processes.
- Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Certification.
