Key Responsibilities- Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of our web platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing activities, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of our web platforms.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, scripts, and bug reports.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities, proactively suggesting improvements to our existing processes and tools.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs, working closely with the scrum team to promptly prioritize and fix identified bugs and issues.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
- Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
- 3–5 years of experience in a Manual QA Engineer role.
- Proven experience in software development, specifically in web development.
- Understanding of software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Understanding of an Agile/Scrum development process.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
