About the Role:

The TECMA Group of Companies is seeking a highly skilled Global Sourcing Lead to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the global sourcing process, identifying potential partners, and evaluating their technical capability, manufacturing capability, quality system, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  2. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms and competitive pricing with suppliers.
  3. Sourcing Process: Collaborate with international manufacturers to streamline the sourcing process.
  4. Market Trends: Monitor market trends and industry developments to anticipate sourcing opportunities and challenges.
  5. Supplier Performance: Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  1. Strategic Sourcing: Proven experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.
  2. Cost Savings: Ability to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  3. Supply Chain Project Launching: Experience in launching and managing supply chain projects.
  4. Commodity Knowledge: Deep knowledge in one or more of the following commodities: Rubber, Foam, Adhesives, Sheet metal.
  5. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
  6. ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  7. Language Skills: Advanced English language skills.
