About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Computing Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. As a key member of our Solutions Architecture team, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering our cloud computing strategy to our partner community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our managed System Integrators, providing technical guidance and recommendations to accelerate their projects and promote successful partner engagements.
  • Own the technical relationship with partners, operating as their trusted advisor and providing guidance that aligns with their long-term business outcomes.
  • Provide architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful partner engagements.
  • Assist solution providers with the definition of technical strategies that enable them to sell more of their offering on the AWS platform.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community and other AWS communities.
  • Share customer and partner feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS.
  • Evangelize and educate about AWS technology through various channels, including workshops, bootcamps, user groups, meet-ups, public speaking, blogs, whitepapers, online videos, and conferences.
  • Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching, and mentoring others.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
  • 8+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
