Quality Control Specialist

Job Summary
The Quality Control Operator plays a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. This position is responsible for executing digital and analogue techniques to confirm that final products meet project standards and comply with technical specifications, copy content, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend project or production meetings to understand specifications and ensure accurate completion of high-quality artwork.
- Establish and maintain high-quality standards for production processes, workflows, and client deliverables.
- Responsible for reading, understanding, and applying customer, legal, and regulatory specifications.
- Perform assigned tasks within the overall production workflow and assigned budget, according to work order specifications, industry, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), company standards, and client brand guidelines and standards.
- Ensure client project teams have the most current information about project status by logging and maintaining accurate records in the project tracking system.
- Meet quality standards for all assigned deliverables and make recommendations for improvements in reports, tools, processes, and assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts or related field.
- 4+ years of previous graphic arts experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic understanding of effective print, photo studio, and/or digital production processes, roles, tools, and workflows.
- Basic to proficient experience in photo and color manipulation techniques and processes.
- Computer Graphics certification preferred.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
