Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Dining Room Host/Hostess to join our team at The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in Mexico. This is a full-time position, and the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

About the Job

The successful candidate will greet guests upon arrival, determine the number of people in their party, and seat them accordingly. They will also guide guests through the dining rooms, provide assistance as needed, and ensure that place settings are accurate and tidy. Additionally, the host/hostess will maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day and monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, and guest well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and seat them according to availability and preference
  • Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide assistance as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure that place settings are accurate and tidy

  • Follow company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and confidentiality guidelines
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous hospitality experience is an asset, but not required. We offer a competitive salary of $30,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
