We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Oracle, working on a SaaS cloud platform that enables energy and water companies to thrive in a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement automated solutions for complex technical problems using scripting languages and infrastructure orchestration tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational patterns and issues, and develop creative solutions to improve efficiency and speed.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Prometheus, Grafana, Java, and other modern SaaS technologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in projects involving people from various disciplines, including engineering, cloud, networking, CI/CD, project management, monitoring, and alerting.
- Provide technical guidance and support for complex user problems, and assist in the development of platform services, including architecture, provisioning, configuration, deployment, and support.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and maintain/improve customer SLAs.
- Serve as a technical mentor/lead for the team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in Operations and/or Software Engineering supporting production enterprise systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Strong customer focus and ability to collaborate effectively with local or remote teams.
- Good understanding of Incident and Change management processes, and experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and scripting languages.
- Prior experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or equivalent is a plus.
