Thomson Reuters is seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to lead a team of AEM and DevOps engineers in delivering high-quality software solutions.
About the Role:
In this key technical lead role, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with technology peers and business partners to solve complex business problems and ensure the availability of our products.
- Providing technical support to operations or other development teams by troubleshooting, debugging, and solving critical issues in the production environment in a timely manner to minimize user and revenue impact.
- Interpreting code and solving problems based on existing standards.
- Working closely with our business partners and stakeholders to identify requirements and priorities of new enhancements and features, ensuring that stakeholder needs are met.
- Providing technical input and analysis to tactical and strategic planning. Utilizing technical expertise and experience to architect solutions that will improve supportability and availability of production services.
- Actively participating and collaborating in meetings, processes, agile ceremonies, and interactions with other technology groups.
- Working with the project manager in planning the sprints, providing feedback, and communicating any obstacles.
- Providing technical leadership, mentoring, or coaching to software or systems engineering teams that are distributed across geographic locations. Proactively sharing knowledge and best practices on using new and emerging technologies across all the development and testing groups.
- Creating and maintaining all required technical documentation/manuals related to assigned components to ensure supportability.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of AWS services and management, including Serverless, Container, Queueing, and Monitoring services.
- Good knowledge and understanding of CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) concepts and version control (Git, GitHub).
- Good knowledge and understanding of Datadog Monitoring/similar monitoring tools, Cloud automation tools (CloudFormation/Terraform), and build and deployment tools like Jenkins/GitHub runners.
- Strong working knowledge with Analysis, Design, and Implementation including SOA, Web services, XML/HTTP, REST, HTML, Servlets, and APIs.
- Experience integrating with enterprise business systems like SAP, Salesforce via Middleware such as Dell Boomi.
- Knowledge of Digital Asset Management (DAM) concepts to effectively leverage AEM.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, presentation, documentation, troubleshooting, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- 6+ years of experience handling and leading development projects involving Adobe Experience Manager – experience with AEM as a Cloud Service is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of architecture & infrastructure considerations for AEM Sites and Assets.
- Experience in application and enterprise architecture, systems integration, and development with knowledge of interactive design specifically AEM.
