Key Responsibilities- Generate and Lead Medium Spend Initiatives: Develop and execute strategies to improve year-over-year savings and trade working capital.
- Review and Approve Purchase Requisitions: Ensure that purchase requisitions are compliant with the company's global procurement policy and that the information in the requisition enables future analysis for spend management and enhancement.
- Drive Spend Analysis and Reporting: Reclassify vendor spend to the proper taxonomy and work with the procurement data team to build reporting and business intelligence that drives and accelerates savings initiatives.
- Facilitate RFP Enablement: Work with category managers to extract data for the RFP, crunch data, coordinate with vendors, receive quotes, and facilitate bid analysis and scenario modeling to accelerate decision-making for RFPs.
- Lead and Execute Strategy for Sub-Categories: Partner with category managers to develop and execute strategies for sub-categories.
- Drive Spend Under Contract KPI: Work with category managers to ensure that contracts are loaded into the company's contract lifecycle management tool.
- Review and Negotiate Contracts and SOWs: Understand legal clauses and implications for major items and negotiate contracts and statements of work for assigned categories.
- Provide Market Intelligence: Research the category and provide market intelligence to category managers to enable economics analytics.
- Generate Financial and Savings Reporting: Use the company's preferred tool to generate financial and savings reporting.
- Engage and Enable Training: Engage and enable training for indirect stakeholders on how to effectively engage with the team and how to utilize solutions and agreements.
- Support Supplier Business Continuity Program: Deploy actions to reach category targets and support the supplier business continuity program.
- Analyze Spend Data: Analyze spend data at a part number level to identify cost reduction, standardization, or simplification opportunities.
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- Relevant Experience: +4 years of relevant experience in indirect procurement, with prior experience in professional services, MRO, and facilities.
- RFx Processes: A deep understanding of RFx processes and good understanding of a source-to-pay process, including knowledge of category management principles.
- Spend Analysis: Ability to perform spend analysis and rationalize tail spend.
- CLM Principles: CLM principles and ability to read and negotiate SOWs and contracts.
- Technical Skills: Strong MS Office and advanced Excel or VBA skills, with Microsoft Power Apps or other data tools preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and business judgment.
- Communication Skills: Strong English written and communication skills.
- APICS Training: APICS training or certification is a plus.
- KPIs and Metrics: Proven experience working with KPIs and metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Ability to drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, streamlining processes, and utilizing lean and quality tools to reduce waste and maximize throughput.
