About the Role
As a Line Quality Engineer at Danfoss, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met across our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to prevent nonconformities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and control the execution of QMS processes, including audits where applicable.
- Act as a facilitator to ensure quality tools are used effectively in all relevant manufacturing processes.
- Establish and maintain quality control points in the factory, executed according to control plans.
- Ensure necessary quality documentation is developed and implemented before product and process changes are released (Change Control M5).
- Plan and execute product audits, taking corrective and preventive actions in case of nonconformities (8D).
- Implement, verify, and validate containment, corrective, and preventive actions (8D).
- Control waivers and concession approval processes for parts, products, and manufacturing processes.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to support the execution of improvement projects aligned with the quality plan (Quality One Pagers).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- 2-3 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Self-driven, independent, and positive learning attitude.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with problem-solving tools like 8Ds and FTA.
- Able to conduct process audits according to control plans and upgrade control plans themselves.
