Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the development of various components to meet system-level requirements.
- Complete engineering deliverables on time with high-quality for all milestones.
- Take charge of issue resolution to ensure deliverables are achieved across different milestones.
- Oversee the financial status to target for the seat system.
- Take charge of executing target delivery and target confirmation for cost, weight, and quality.
- Lead and support the cost process to deliver sourcing packages to the supply base.
- Manage tools and processes for tracking and following up on engineering and program delivery.
- Lead the resolution of prototype and final assembly build issues.
Desired Profile:
- Experience in the automotive industry, specifically in product engineering or design and release engineering.
- Knowledge of full product development cycle, including launch experience in at least one vehicle.
- Advanced proficiency in English with the ability to lead and maintain fluid conversations.
- Proficiency in communication and presentation, with the ability to communicate ideas concisely and effectively in verbal and written form.
- Advanced people skills.
- Ability to find solutions and/or make recommendations for issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to create and execute timing plans to ensure product delivery.
- Ability to create and maintain issue resolution trackers to ensure adherence to plans.
- Proficiency in identifying and resolving system problems or issues and make decisions based on data.
- Experience in using problem-solving tools such as 8D and root cause analysis.
