We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Treaty Underwriting Coordinator to join our Reinsurance Business Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our underwriting activities and ensuring the smooth operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide underwriting support for non-client facing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Ensure data quality and compliance with internal standards and guidelines, as well as statutory requirements.
- Enter contractual deal information into systems for consumption by other functions, such as Finance, Accounting, Claims, and Reserving.
About the Team
We are a diverse and dynamic team located in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, with varying levels of experience in the reinsurance industry. We support North America Property and Casualty Reinsurance teams and units in delivering on their core mandates.
About You
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic team player who is driven by new solutions and ways of working. You should have strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and curiosity, with the ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to changing situations.
Requirements:
- University graduate degree in business, accounting, finance, insurance, or a related field.
- Fluency in English, written and verbal.
- Competent in Microsoft 365 suite, including Power BI, Sharepoint, Powerpoint, and Word.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience within the Property & Casualty (Re)insurance industry.
- Degree in natural science or a quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Actuarial Sciences).
- Data savviness and attention to detail, with high-level confidence and practical know-how in working with large data files.
