Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Crime Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Crime Operations department, you will play a crucial role in preventing financial crime and ensuring the safety of our customers and their money.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct reviews of sanctions watchlist alerts generated by automated transaction filtering and client screening systems, manual reports, or internal referrals.
  • Escalate potential sanctions issues or suspicious activity to the Head of Compliance or Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
  • Review and investigate PEP screening alerts using the client screening system, internal Customer Due Diligence systems, and third-party sources.
  • Assist with the validation of the Sanctions and PEP alert systems and participate in testing of new releases or updates of current systems as necessary.
  • Respond and remediate issues identified by the Quality Control Team.
Requirements:
  • Fluent English (C1)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • At least 1 year of working experience in Financial Crime
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure and tight time frames
  • Willingness to work different shifts
  • Ability to work together with multiple compliance teams
