About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Tech Lead to join our team. As a senior member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a group of six frontend, backend, and full-stack engineers.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and excellent leadership skills, with the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration and align technical deliverables with business goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor autonomous development teams to achieve high performance and alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with architects and technical leaders to support scalable reference architectures.
- Ensure compliance with SLA, SLO, and SLI, managing risks, dependencies, and impediments.
- Conduct and guide code reviews.
- Oversee QA processes to ensure usability, accessibility, and system reliability.
- Partner with SRE teams to ensure infrastructure capacity, resilience, and reliability.
- Promote secure, scalable, and maintainable development practices while driving technical excellence.
- Encourage innovation and the adoption of new tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Promote an autonomous work culture by encouraging self-management.
- Develop road maps and execution plans with excellent skills.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and technical debt effectively.
- Provide feedback to team members through effective 1:1s.
- Measure team performance.
- Coach team members, evaluate their ability to coach and mentor others, helping them develop both technical and professional skills.
- Effective delegation is crucial in this role.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in leadership and mentoring roles.
- Expertise in modern technologies like Java, Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Experience with GoLang and React (Next.js) or React Native is desirable.
- Strong experience in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerized development.
- Experience in cloud development (AWS & Serverless Computing), including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and SAM.
- Knowledge of secure development practices, including SAST, DAST, and MAST.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub, GitHub Actions, SonarCloud, Terraform, Docker).
- Strong adaptability to fast-paced environments and excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
