Job Summary

As the Chief Financial Officer at Accor Hotels, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operations and matters related to the Finance department. This includes developing and managing key relationships with division heads and senior managers to provide financial support and understanding of short and long-term financial plans. You will also be responsible for monitoring budgetary and key performance indicator movements, ensuring compliance with company auditors and regulators, and leading the development and implementation of benchmarking techniques to enhance revenues while improving productivity and cost efficiencies. Additionally, you will be responsible for promoting and driving the GOP Theoretical Flow Through concept at the hotel, managing the development of accounting admissions, credit/collections and internal control policies, and ensuring all statutory compliances, permissions and licenses are in place and renewed in time. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all operations and matters related to Finance department.
  • Develop and manage key relationships with respective division heads and senior managers to provide financial support and understanding of short and long-term financial plans.
  • Monitor budgetary and key performance indicator movements.
  • Ensure to liaise with the company auditors and regulators.
  • Responsible for all financial and accounting functions of the organization.
  • Lead in the development and implementation of benchmarking techniques that will enable the divisions at the hotel to enhance revenues while improving productivity and cost efficiencies.
  • Promote, drive and maximize the GOP Theoretical Flow Through concept at the hotel.
  • Ensure to manage the development of accounting admissions, credit/collections and internal control policies.
  • Ensure all statutory compliances, permissions and licenses are in place and renewed in time.
  • Supervise the functioning of the Procurement department.
Requirements
  • Accounting Designation, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive work-related experience in multiple areas of accounting/finance.
  • Demonstrated experience with accounting system or similar financial software for the purpose of financial reporting, analysis, and presentation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of finance, budgeting, and accounting processes and regulations, along with demonstrated knowledge of capital projects management standards and techniques and GAAP regulations and procedures.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Windows applications and relevant computer applications.
  • Highly responsible & reliable with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to focus attention on owner & guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Pre-opening experience is preferred.
