About the Role
Finastra is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Network Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing modern network connectivity solutions that meet the needs of our global clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or contribute to low-level planning milestones, including bill of material compilation, quoting, proof of concept, pilot, and production rollout.
- Design and implement network solutions using technologies such as Akamai Web App Firewall, Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms, FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Cisco ISE, F5 LTM, MPLS, and SD-WAN.
- Design and deliver network solutions within Microsoft Azure Cloud, including Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Virtual NAT, Service and Private Link, NSG, Basic and Standard IP allocation, VNET, VPN Gateway, VWAN, and ExpressRoute.
- Lead modernization efforts to enable business outcomes, including connectivity needs from Finastra clients or 3rd Party Partners (on-premises to on-premises, cloud to cloud, or on-premises to cloud).
- Create SOPs that define operating parameters of newly created or existing connectivity and ancillary network solutions.
- Mentor peers within Network Operations and facilitate Operational Handoff meetings to socialize new design and enhancement details.
- Leverage working experience of routing protocols – EIGRP, OSPF, BGP – to deliver against business outcomes and operational excellence targets for uptime availability SLAs.
- Proficient with DNS utilities to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Working knowledge of IPAM tools – Infoblox a plus.
- Proficient planning for circuit activations – Internet and MPLS, to include activation implementation tasks.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and cloud computing.
- Experience with network design and implementation using various technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Azure Cloud and related technologies.
