Materials Planner Job Description
At Johnson Electric Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to manage our inventory and materials. This role is crucial in driving success and innovation within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine material quantities to order and specify the required date(s).
  • Enter release data into the system.
  • Release orders to suppliers.
  • Monitor and communicate any issues with material delivery that may affect the schedule.
  • Track shipments from suppliers and evaluate their delivery performance.
  • Verify receipt of material.
  • Ensure compliance with established inventory limits.
  • Cycle count inventory as instructed by management.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in materials planning or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills; background/experience in statistics is advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively with others.
  • Understanding of how manufacturing systems function, including how material is stored, used, reported, and scrapped.


Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
