About the Role:
As a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineering Manager, you will lead a large team of Supplier Quality Engineers in the Tijuana & Empalme, Mexico manufacturing sites within the Vascular Therapies & Implants + Drug Chemistry Technologies (VTI+DCT) platform.
You will be accountable for changes to existing supplied products and processes, as well as oversight of performance and improvement activities.
- Manage a team of Supplier Quality Engineers, Supervisors, and/or Managers responsible for ensuring delivery of quality parts, materials, and services.
- Accountable for mentoring, developing, and coaching staff on meeting/exceeding performance expectations and defined objectives.
- Develop and maintain monitoring systems to track supplier and team performance.
- Lead cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve supplier-related quality or compliance issues.
About You:
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in supply chain management and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, and 5+ years of managerial experience. Additionally, they should possess excellent English skills, 3 years of program management experience, and certifications such as ASQ CQE, CQA, and CSQP.
