Senior Tooling Technologist

As a key member of the Ford Motor Company team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of cutting-edge tooling technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tooling technology, with experience in investigating, developing, and vetting new tools and vendors. They will also possess excellent analytical skills, enabling them to benchmark existing technologies and competitor strategies.

You will work closely with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Product Development teams to develop new technologies, strategies, and identify implications of new product advances in the industry.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining Global Standard Cell Support
• Supporting Investment Efficiency - Basket of Goods (BOG) Standard Costs
• Leveraging PFMEA and SCCAF processes
• Creating, maintaining, and updating Health Chart Mapping
• Establishing content and strategy for future model studies
• Tracking equipment pedigree/useful life for Chihuahua Engine Plant
• Providing lookahead review of assets requiring replacement within 5 years
• Identifying funding opportunities for useful life asset replacement/refurbishment
• Developing and delivering tooling and equipment Scope of Works for issuance to supplier(s)

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
