Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Systems Applications Engineer to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd Level Support for automotive microcontroller software and hardware topics
  • Provide backup support for automotive microcontroller Field Applications Engineers
  • Provide feedback to headquarters about microcontroller features as well as development tools and collateral
  • Generate Application Notes and other collaterals to facilitate Ease of Use
  • Lead roadmap discussions with OEMs
  • Provide deep technical design-in support and trainings to OEM

Requirements

  • SEE, BSCS or equivalent with 3-5 years experience with Automotive microcontrollers and microcontroller development tools
  • Strong technical knowledge, competence, design experience of software on a system level
  • Strong debugging and problems solving skills
  • Ability to create interesting and convincing technical presentations and trainings
  • Embedded programming experience of microcontrollers using the C, C++ and assembly languages
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external customers
  • Experience with functional safety, cyber security, AUTOSAR/MCALs, CAN and Ethernet is desirable
  • Experience with Infineon AURIX MCUs and development tools is desirable
