Job Summary

Eaton Corporation's Global Trade Management (GTM) Center of Excellence is seeking a skilled Classification Analyst to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough technical analysis to determine customs HTS codes for finished goods, components, machinery, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S., Mexican, and Canadian Harmonized Tariff Schedule regulations.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in international trade laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve classification discrepancies and provide advisory services to businesses.
  • Lead projects and meetings to review project progress and provide guidance to team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least two years of experience in classification and customs regulations.
  • Proficiency in customs classification skills and knowledge of the General Rules of Interpretation of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
