The Senior Steel Category Strategist will lead the development of long-term strategies and technology roadmaps for the steel category. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess current and future sourcing needs, negotiate long-term supply contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in sourcing environments and a strong understanding of global supply chain principles. A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or General Business Administration with a concentration in Supply Chain is required.
You will work closely with engineering and product safety teams to define critical standards for supplier selection for assigned categories. You will also interface with cross-functional teams to assess current and future sourcing needs in terms of technology, cost, and manufacturing location/lead-time.
