Manufacturing Financial Operations Lead

The Plant Controller will oversee all financial activities of the Puebla-based manufacturing plant, ensuring strong internal controls across financial processes in compliance with SOX. This role involves managing cost accounting, including annual cost determination and labor costing analysis, as well as inventory controls, such as physical inventory counts and resource allocation.
Responsibilities also include developing, implementing, and refining costing processes within SAP to enhance cost accuracy and reporting, maintaining compliance with US GAAP in all reporting and financial operations, and overseeing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general accounting, and tax-related processes.
This position requires leadership skills to drive accurate financial reporting processes, including closing activities and financial statement preparation, as well as support for ad hoc financial reporting, variance analysis, and insights for improved decision-making.
Requirements:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Expertise in managing costs and inventories
- A strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation
- Excellent analytical and leadership skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
