Job Summary

The mobile engineering team develops new features and supports our best-in-class iOS and Android applications. We work closely with product, server engineering, design, marketing, and customer support teams to create new product experiences for our customers.

Our goal is to provide a solid mobile experience that helps customers gain access to their money easily. Engineers joining the mobile team must have a focus on user experience and understand mobile-specific issues ranging from network usage to battery life.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the product and design team to create new user experiences and features
  • Design and implement new APIs with our server engineering team to communicate with the mobile applications
  • Create a scalable mobile architecture to ensure the organization is nimble as we grow
  • Drive decisions on strategies and methodologies used in mobile app development and testing
  • Create unit and automation tests to ensure new code does not break existing features
  • Create and monitor analytics to prove the effectiveness of new and existing features
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Fluency in Swift programming language and reactive and functional programming concepts
  • Experience with various application architectures used in iOS development
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle
  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience
