About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Meshing Engineer to join our team in Mexico. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating finite element meshes that will be used for structural analysis simulations. You'll work closely with our team of analysts to ensure that our models are accurate and reliable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform geometry preprocessing and basic analysis work for a defined portion of a project
  • Develop finite element meshes using FEA software (Hypermesh, ANSYS, etc.)
  • Collaborate with analysts to review and improve mesh quality
What We're Looking For
  • Basic understanding of Finite Element Method
  • Experience with FEA software (Hypermesh, ANSYS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Structures and/or Mechanics of Materials
What You'll Bring
  • Proficiency with hypermesh pre-processing and Optistruct user profile
  • Ability to debug FEA models to ensure modal analysis/linear convergence
  • Knowledge of Optistruct Joint behavior
Education

Mechanical Engineering or similar degree
