A Day in the Life of a Senior Financial Accountant
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Applies financial analysis to prepare internal and external financial reports.
- Maintains or oversees the control of accounts and records in areas such as disbursements, expenses, tax payments and income.
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review accuracy.
- Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow statements, consolidates financial statements, and accounting schedules and reports.
- Designs, modifies, installs, and/or maintains accounting systems to recognize financial transactions accurately.
- Adheres to and communicates accounting policies and procedures, internal controls, and technical accounting research for complex business transactions and implementation of new accounting standards.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
